This week, I had the pleasure of sharing the stage with my colleagues: Heather McCollum, Calum McDonald, Stergios Kritikos, and Bilen Mujdaba at Barclays Eagle Labs on Wednesday night 6 March 2024.
Together, we discussed our journey in establishing a UX community of practice— a grassroots initiative here at the Barclays Glasgow campus.
We reflected on our accomplishments over the past 12 months since launching this initiative. We delved into what went well, the challenges we faced, and the lessons we learned. From our initial introductory UX talk – raising awareness of the UX practice to hosting Creative Problem-solving Workshops on campus.
This week’s talk has further fueled our commitment to fostering a design-led approach to problem-solving, regardless of the scale of the challenge in any project.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended, asked insightful questions, and engaged with us during the event!
Special shoutout to Bobby King, Kat Husband, and Vinishree /Vini from UX Glasgow, and Jack and team at Barclays Eagle Labs for their invaluable assistance in planning this event.
